Getting to Woolwich Works

The closest station to Woolwich Works is the Elizabeth line Woolwich Station, which is approximately a 3-minute walk from our front doors and has a lift, escalator and stairs from platform to street.

The DLR and National Rail Woolwich Arsenal Station is approximately a 7-minute walk away on Woolwich New Road. The station has lifts, escalators and stairs from platform to street.

The Uber Boat by Thames Clippers RB1 service stops at the Woolwich (Royal Arsenal) pier just outside Woolwich Works, less than 2 minutes from our front doors.

Parking

There's no on-site parking at Woolwich Works, so we encourage all visitors to make use of public transport.

If you require parking due to accessibility, the Heritage Centre Car Park is a pay-and-display car park 5 minutes away from our front doors. Drop-offs can also be made outside the pedestrianised zone on Duke of Wellington Avenue or in the Heritage Centre Car Park, both are a 5 minute walk away.

For Blue Badge holders, the Heritage Centre Car Park is still pay-and-display, but badge-holders can park on any double lines within the Royal Arsenal around Woolwich Works for 3 hours, including New Warren Lane (SE18 6NF) and Duke of Wellington Avenue (SE18 6SS).
Please ensure your vehicle does not cause an obstruction or block any crossroads, and your Blue Badge is clearly displayed, with the time clock showing the arrival time.
