Identity

A Ukrainian Contemporary Art Exhibition exploring IDENTITY, roots, stories, inner state and perspective of the future.

Dates: Friday 2 May - Monday 5 May

Location: Knight Gallery and Workers' Bar at Woolwich Works

This event is FREE - no tickets are needed.

IDENTITY, a contemporary art exhibition, presents over 30 Ukrainian artists currently living in the UK, Ukraine and Europe.

We are going to immerse in the stories of major life transformations and resilience through different media. We will face a variety of conflicts and contradictions, total darkness and bright light, solitude and new meaningful encounters, national traditions and acceptance of diversity, endless disagreements and synergetic unity, challenges and freedom. Ukrainian artists are creating in the midst of historical events affecting the world and their individual destinies. They are coming to Woolwich Works to share their experiences and perceptions.
