You'll receive practical tips on cultivating a writing practice, along with engaging in a series of interactive and solo writing exercises designed to help you get started on your writing journey.

Shani Akilah is a Black British Caribbean writer and screenwriter from Woolwich. She is a book influencer, co-founded the Nyah Network, a book club for Black women, and was a literary judge for the Nota Bene Prize 2023. Shani has a Masters degree in African Studies from Oxford University. Oneworld published her debut short story collection as a super title in June 2024.
