NHS Blood Donations

Woolwich Works is proud to regularly host NHS blood donations

The NHS Blood Donation Service is a lifeline, providing critical resources for surgeries, cancer treatments, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Your contribution is more than just blood; it's a beacon of hope for those in need.

Why Should You Donate?

  • Impact: Every pint you donate can save up to three lives.
  • Community: Join a network of heroes who are the foundation for emergency preparedness.
  • Health: Enjoy a free health screening and a sense of accomplishment knowing you're making a difference.

How Can You Participate?

  1. Check Eligibility: Most people can give blood. You can check your eligibility online or by contacting us directly.
  2. Book an Appointment: Schedule your donation at a time that works for you. SIGN-UP HERE or call 0300 123 23 23
  3. Prepare for Donation: Stay hydrated, eat a healthy meal, and avoid alcohol before donating.
  4. Donate: The actual donation takes only 8-10 minutes, but your impact lasts a lifetime.
