Man at Sea

Man at Sea has been praised for his distinctive blend of introspective classic songwriting and soaring melodies. Often compared to the likes of Rufus Wainwright and Thom Yorke, his songs invite listeners to reflect on the many aspects of the human condition.

Hailing from a small village on the Isle of Wight where the sea served as a constant muse, his passion for songwriting blossomed at a young age. Relocating to Bristol in 2017, he embraced the moniker Man at Sea and began captivating local audiences with his stripped-back, intimate performances at the piano.

After a resurgent desire to make songwriting his career, 2023 saw the release of three brand new acclaimed singles, culminating in his first full professional EP 'Love & Anxiety'. His Tik Tok page has amassed over 10,000 followers in the space of a few months.

Recent shows include a SOLD OUT gig at the Bristol Fringe in early 2024 and a showcase with Searchlight Sessions at the Bath Forum.

With his latest single ‘Icarus’ and a new four track EP on the horizon, 2024 will see Man at Sea continue building his audience both locally in Bristol and across the UK as he sets out on tour later in the year.
