This Christmas, Santa is heading to Woolwich Works to meet local families in his Gingerbread Grotto - complete with lollipop lined garden and icing tiled roof!
This deliciously delightful event for all ages will take place on weekends leading up to Christmas:

• Fri 29, Sat 30 November and Sun 1 December
• Sun 8 December
• Sat 14 & Sun 15 December
• Fri 20, Sat 21, Sun 22 & Mon 23 December

Tickets are £10 per child (plus booking fee) and include a visit with Santa and a gingerbread gift that can be decorated post-visit at icing stations in the café.
Gluten-free gingerbread is also available. Please mention any allergies in the access section when booking your ticket.

Parents, carers and family members go free and visitors to the Gingerbread Grotto can colour, create and craft while they wait.

Everyone loves a (s)Elfie!

At the Gingerbread Grotto our playful elves will help you strike a pose, so you can leave the perfect picture - on your phone or your own camera. And of course Santa loves the camera too, so photography is welcome in his grotto.

This year's Gingerbread Grotto does not include printed photos. We encourage you to snap your pics and (s)Elfies with Santa with your own phone or camera so that you have them straight away to share with your loved ones.

How do I book tickets for my child?

Times to the Gingerbread Grotto vary, so please choose your date and time slot carefully, as transferring to another day or time may not be possible.
Choose the date first from the calendar below. All of our dates are at weekends or during after school hours.
Select the time and book your ticket(s).
Make sure that you arrive in good time for your session. We will have a dedicated crafting area for those waiting to see Santa.

How much are adult tickets?

This event is designed for children, so children will need a ticket. Tickets for children over 1 year old are £10 each.
Adults have free entry, so long as they are with a ticket holder.

Can I bring a newborn baby to visit Santa?

If you want to take a photo of your baby with Santa then we offer free tickets to those under 12 months old.

Can I bring the grandparents and other relatives?

Of course. As adults they will be allowed in for free with the ticket holder.

Is the Gingerbread Grotto accessible?

We are a fully accessible venue, with both accessible toilets and a Changing Places toilet.
The Gingerbread Grotto is located on the ground floor and has level access throughout.
If you require any assistance during your visit then please mention this in the Access and Assistance Requests during your booking or speak to a member of staff on the day.

Can I bring my dog?

We're a dog-friendly venue. You're welcome to bring your dog so long as it is kept on a lead and is well-behaved. If your dog needs water or a treat then visit the 'Dog Station' area in our cafe.
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are always welcome throughout our venue.

Where is the Gingerbread Grotto?

Santa has set up his Gingerbread Grotto in Knight Gallery at Woolwich Works.
When you arrive in the cafe, go through the door on the right of the cafe counter, go past the toilets and follow the signs to the Gingerbread Grotto.
Friendly elves will be on hand to guide and assist you.
