Willow Dene School have been thinking about what it means to be a 'noise maker', reflecting on how we experience sound, as well as how we create it. They have been exploring this subject through the visual arts, responding to and taking inspiration from the sounds around us. This display brings together the results of this unique whole school project, exhibiting artworks from 37 classes, and presents a range of artistic techniques used to creatively respond to the theme.

Willow Dene is an outstanding special school for children of primary and secondary age, and young people of sixth form age, based over two beautiful sites in the Plumstead area.

This is a free exhibition in our Visitors' Book Cafe.
